National Teacher Appreciation Week is the first full week of May and at BR FLAIM we LOVE celebrating and appreciating our teachers and staff that make FLAIM so special for us and our children. The Teacher Support Committee with PTO has a great line up for the week, but we need your help! Please consider contributing in some capacity to make this week extra special!

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Volunteers are needed in a variety of capacities from donating drinks, prizes, candy, or gift cards to giving your time in person to assist with staffing events and meals. Please see the Sign Up Genius links below to contribute in any way you are able. Any and all support is appreciated! Help us make this a memorable Teacher Appreciation Week for our FLAIM Family.

SHARE YOUR APPRECIATION

Give a shout out and share your appreciation for individual teachers and staff. Complete as many shout outs as you want. These will be compiled and shared with each teacher and staff member as part of their goody bag for the week. This is one of the favorite traditions we started a few years ago. Teachers and staff mention it warms their heart and is a nice reminder that they can look back on each year of the impact they make on our children and families.

JOIN THE TEACHER SUPPORT COMMITTEE

Want to be part of the committee that shows appreciation and support for our teachers year round? Consider joining the Teacher Support Committee with the PTO. This committee meets monthly during the school year (usually virtually) and provides numerous opportunities to engage and give back to FLAIM.

Some initiatives coordinated through the Teacher Support Committee include: teacher supplies requests, monthly appreciation events, professional development day refreshments, and teacher appreciation week.
