4th & 5th Grade Glow Party
Get ready to have a blast at our 4th & 5th grade Glow Party! Happening on Friday, February 7th, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM in the school gym, this event is all about letting loose and having a blast with your friends. While we suggest casual neon or white attire, please don't stress about it – come as you are and get ready to party! Everyone in 4th and 5th grade is welcome to join in the fun. It's a chance for all 4th & 5th graders to hang out, dance, and make some unforgettable memories. And guess what? Admission is just $5 per student (cash or check) and $6 if you pay online, so you won't break the bank to have a great time. So grab your buddies, mark your calendars, and let's make this glow party one for the books! Lite snacks will be served!
Soirée Dansante 2024
Come and join the FLAIM French Club for a fantastic night of French music and dancing on Friday, November 8 at 6:00 pm in the school gym! We invite you to dance the night away and enjoy the rhythm of French tunes. You don't want to miss out on this boogietastic evening - see you there!

Mid-Autumn Festival 2024
The Mandarin Language Club hosts an annual Mid-Autumn Festival celebration for the families of the Mandarin program. Teachers, administration, and alumni are encouraged to attend. There will be delicious Chinese food, fun crafts and activities for the kids, and mooncakes!
This year’s event will be held at the Baton Rouge FLAIM campus (4510 Bawell St) on Saturday, September 30 from 2-5 PM.
Order 2024-2025 School Supplies
Want the ease of ordering school supplies over the summer and having them delivered to your child’s classroom before school starts? You can do just that if you place an order with LOSCO before July 15, 2024.
PTO Book and Uniform Swap
Come “shop” for free uniforms and summer reading books donated by FLAIM families. You can also shop the lost and found for unclaimed items that need a new home!

Teacher Appreciation Week 2024
National Teacher Appreciation Week is the first full week of May and at BR FLAIM we LOVE celebrating and appreciating our teachers and staff that make FLAIM so special for us and our children. The Teacher Support Committee with PTO has a great line up for the week, but we need your help! Please consider contributing in some capacity to make this week extra special!
The Big Give!
Hate it when schools send your kids home with items to sell door- to -door as a fundraiser?
At FLAIM - you don’t have to! The PTO is asking for your support through direct donations. Any amount is welcomed.
Each class will compete, and those with the highest donations will win a special surprise!
Donations must be submitted by midnight on April 22 to be counted for the competition.

While we suggest Semi-Formal, please don't stress about it – come as you are and get ready to party! Whether you're rocking your coolest sneakers or your fanciest shoes, everyone in 4th and 5th grade is welcome to join in the fun. It's a chance for all 4th & 5th graders to hang out, dance, and make some unforgettable memories. And guess what? Admission is just $5 per student (cash or check) and $6 if you pay online, so you won't break the bank to have a great time. FLAIM Fest
Join us for an evening of dancing, food, and fun!
Popcorn and desserts will be provided. Food trucks will be on-site for families who want to buy dinner.

Gumbo Cook-Off
The Gumbo Cook-Off builds community with families, kids, teachers, and administration. Gumbos will be available to sample and vote on. Hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, and drinks will be provided, as well as a bouncy house for the kids. This is a free event open to all.

Le Grand Pique-Nique
In 2024, it will enter its 29th year attracting students from all 25 French Immersion schools across Louisiana. The Council for the Development of French in Louisiana (CODOFIL) selected Baton Rouge Foreign Language Academic Immersion Magnet (FLAIM) and Westdale Middle Magnet schools to host their annual Le Grand Pique-Nique at West Baton Rouge Museum on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM.

The Spanish Language Club is so excited to present the BR FLAIM Hispanic Heritage Art Show! October 6th 2023 at the BR FLAIM atrium.
The goal of this event is to not only celebrate the world's finest Hispanic artists, but also for our children to gain a greater knowledge and appreciation for the amazing contributions Hispanic people have made to the arts!
